26. It's Shore Lots of Fun

  1. Explore the Mystic River aboard the historic steamboat Sabino. A National Historic Landmark, Sabino was built in 1908 and is the last wooden, coal-fired steamboat still in operation. Then walk the decks of tall ships at Mystic Seaport. Take a buggy ride.
  2. Have a whale of a good time at Mystic Aquarium, I-95 Exit 90. Stay overnight then take your pick of nearby beaches.
  3. Travel back in time at the Mashantucket Pequot Museum, I-95 Exit 92 the world's largest native American Museum. Before you hit the highway home, take some back roads - you might find a great ice cream shop!
