  1. Get off to a good start with a tour of the Mark Twain House, I-84 Exit 46 in Hartford. This National Historic Landmark is the fascinating Victorian mansion where Mark Twain wrote his most famous books. Then it’s off to Hartford’s Riverfront Plaza and a cruise on the triple-deck Mark Twain. Buy lunch on board or take one with you. Book a room in Hartford and get a great weekend rate. In the evening, catch a show at the Bushnell or head back to the river for a Tequila Sunset Music Cruise.
  2. Next day head for Huck Finn Adventures in Collinsville for your choice of a leisurely float down the Farmngton River or an underground canoe trip to discover the Lost Park River in Hartford. Do one more ride before heading home, on the historic Carousel in Bushnell Park in Hartford.
