The Buick Championship: Always Up To Par!

Get into the swing of things this weekend with thousands of fellow golfing fans as the 2005 Buick Championship tees off at River Highlands in Cromwell. The tournament begins on August 22, leaving the crowds primed for plenty of long drives, keen putts and holes in one by the time the final rounds are played this Saturday and Sunday. One of the world's premier golf events, the Buick Championship features players from the PGA Tour, and offers a variety of fun activities for the entire family. Quassy Amusement Park is more than just a terrific place for thrilling rides and a great summer cool-down! This weekend, watch as youngsters from across the region compete in traditional Irish dancing. Park visitors receive a free lesson during intermission between competitions.
